Methodology
How OutboundFix knows what it knows.
The whole product depends on one claim: that a verdict is trustworthy because of how it was reached, not because of who is asserting it. This page is the honest answer to how that works.
Verdicts are built from observable commercial signals — hiring activity, product and integration changes, funding and expansion events — not inferred from firmographics alone.
Before a verdict ships, it is checked against the strongest reason the fit could be wrong. A PASS that ignored a hiring freeze is not a real PASS.
RESEARCH_MORE is a real, valid outcome — used when the evidence gathered so far is genuinely insufficient to decide either way, not a fallback for a low-confidence guess.
Every verdict carries the evidence and counter-evidence that produced it, so it can be checked, not just trusted.
Where public signal alone is not enough, targeted research fills the gap before a verdict is rendered.
Why RESEARCH_MORE exists
Not every account resolves cleanly
A system that only ever outputs PASS or KILL is hiding its own uncertainty. OutboundFix does not force a verdict where the evidence does not support one — RESEARCH_MORE means exactly what it says: hold this account for targeted research rather than guess in either direction.
Signal quality & provenance
Every claim traces back to a source
Evidence and counter-evidence carry provenance where available, so a verdict can be checked against what actually produced it rather than taken on faith. Where the available public signal is thin, that limitation is stated rather than papered over with an inferred score.
